A mammoth electrical storm wipes out the entire historical database in the year 2176. A trio of scientists is sent back to 1776 in a time machine to retrieve the Constitution, but a glitch in the machine results in them being sent back to 1976. Not knowing that they are in the wrong year, the adventures in the wild and crazy 1970s begin for the scientists. Lots of guest stars don't help this one.
