  Anthropology student Alan (David Arnott) appears to be the only person who survived a disaster that struck the Earth, leaving everything else intact. He occupies himself by trying to figure out what happened and in the process create a film that chronicles the history of man. He finds another survivor, the beautiful Sarah (Jeri Ryan), who is not excited about spending the rest of her life with such a boring man. Then along comes a third survivor, Raphael (Dan Montgomery), a not-so-bright–but handsome–man, and the old jealousy triangle plot begins.
