One day, a flower seller (Marketa Irglova) stops by, tosses him a dime, and they begin talking. It turns out that she is a pianist who practices at the local music shop. They share a rapport, agree to make music together, and hopefully solve problems of the past and live happily ever after. The film won an Academy Award for Best Original Song ("Falling Slowly").
