Shriek If You Know What I Did Last Friday the 13th 2000 R, 86 min. Genre: Comedy
Director: John Blanchard Cast: Julie Benz, Majandra Delfino, Tiffani Thiessen, Simon Rex, Tom Arnold, Coolio, Aimee Graham, Kim Greist, Harley Cross, Mink Stole, Chris Palermo, Danny Strong, Steven Anthony Lawrence, Martin Diggs, Rose Marie
Now we're making spoofs of spoofs of teen slash movies, but this one has a couple of fun moments and originality–like the character names. Hagitha Utslay (Tiffany-Amber Thiessen) is a reporter for Empty-V News and is now covering the murder rampage going on at the high school. Not only is the killer inept, but so is the security man–Doughy (Tom Arnold)–who is hired to protect the students. Got my drift?

Sydney White 2007 PG-13, 90 min. Genre: Comedy / Romance
Director: Joe Nussbaum Cast: Amanda Bynes, Sara Paxton, Matt Long, Jack Carpenter, Jeremy Howard, Crystal Hunt, Adam Hendershott, Danny Strong, Samm Levine, Libby Mintz, John Schneider, Arnie Pantoja, Brian Patrick Clarke, Lauren Leech, Donte Bonner
In this take-off on "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs," Snow–oops–Sydney White was brought up by her plumber father (John Schneider) and his construction workers after her mother died. Thus, tomboy Sydney was more interested in tools and comic books than social graces when she headed off to the college that her mother had attended, and joined her mother's sorority. She immediately becomes popular at school, resulting in the nasty sorority president, Rachel Witchburn (Sara Paxton), going to great lengths to get Sydney out of the sorority because of Rachel's loss of "most popular" student–and the threat of losing her boyfriend, Tyler (Matt Long), to Sydney. But Sydney doesn't care for the sorority girls, so she moves out and finds a home with seven dorky outcasts (whose personalities are suspiciously similar to the seven Dwarfs). The team plots to take on the evil Rachel and her elitist cohorts and make the school better for all. 1 User Review
