Oscars were received for Best Sound and Editing; Ridley Scott was nominated for Best Director.

But the main thrust of this story is Huck trying to obtain the $10,000 needed to enter the World Poker Championship.

Meanwhile, Bobby manages a nightclub in Brooklyn where Russian drug dealer Vadim Nezhinski (Alex Veadov) hangs out. Burt and Joe want Bobby to give information on the Russian dealers, but Bobby cannot decide what to do–until Joe is shot by Nezhinski. Joe survives the assault, and Burt, Joe, and Bobby now join forces when Bobby offers to spy on the Russian cocaine operation. By helping to bring down Nezhinski, Bobby also endangers his girlfriend Amanda (Eve Mendes) who is a hostess at the club. But, working together, father and sons will try to show that it is the good guys who "own the night."
