Daryl (Barret Oliver) is a boy with amnesia who is found by the side of the road. Because he doesn't know who his real parents are, he is placed with foster parents, Joyce and Andy Richardson (Mary Beth Hurt and Michael McKean), and gradually grows to like them. His name is an acronym, and he represents a secret government experiment (Data Analyzing Robot Youth Lifeform), a clone combined with a computer. The G-men want him back, and Daryl wants to stay with his new family. A touching story, especially for kids.
