While telling the story, Will changes the real names of the women leaving Maya to guess which one is her mother.

When Sarah escorts Black reporter Aaron Carmichael (Mykelti Williamson) around campus, they confide in each other about racial prejudice, and Sarah does some serious thinking. Later, Professor Burton Strauss (Beau Bridges) conducts a "Forum on Race," and a riot ensues. Now, Sarah finally must deal with her own prejudices.
