It's been a hassle, all those years with vampires vs. humans. So, it seemed the right time for the vampires to live in peace in an old ghost town with their sun block 30, etc., and artificial blood made from plants. When the blood plant does not produce enough blood, its designer David Harrison (Jim Metzler) and his wife Sarah (Morgan Brittany) arrive in the ghost town and find themselves in the middle of trouble. There are those fundamentalists, led by Jefferson (John Ireland), who want the real thing and are ready to rise up against the peaceful vampire leader, Count Mardulak (David Carradine), who ordered the blood plant as a method of integrating the vampires into the human world.
