When first released into theaters, this movie caused quite a stir in its use of 3-D with all types of gimmicks to keep the audience on the edge of their seats. At home, viewing does not permit the 3-D effect, but this is still a good film about sculptor Professor Henry Jarrod (Vincent Price) who lost his hands in a fire and now has turned to the murder of pretty young women to complete his work.
