Alan Parrish (Adam Hann-Byrd) was often beaten up when he was in school in Brantford, New Hampshire, in 1969. Then one day he found a magical jungle board game, Jumanji, and played it with his friend, Sarah (Bonnie Hunt). Now we skip to 1995, and orphans Judy (Kirsten Dunst) and Peter (Bradley Pierce) have moved into Alan's old house, find the Jumanji game, and conjure up Alan (Robin Williams) who has been sucked into the game and remained there for the last 26 years. They track down Sarah so they can end the game. Special effects are amazing as animatronic and computer-generated wild animals thunder through the house and town until the game is finished.
