It's hard to believe that this woman who was told she didn't qualify to be a missionary to China could accomplish such a mission. She was truly a great woman. Considered an ugly duckling by some, she still manages to find love with a Eurasian soldier. |

A great epic that was nominated for Best Picture and won Oscars for Best Cinematography and Special Effects.
