Unfortunately, Ernest just won't go away, and this fifth entry in the series is for the real Ernest zealots only. Ernest is a high-school custodian when a brain accelerator is used to make him into a genius (for a short time). Why, you ask? You'll have to find out by watching this unwatchable film.

Ever since her mother died, 14-year-old Casey (Lindsay Lohan) has become a loner and is even drifting away from her busy lawyer father Ben (Jere Burns). One day, Casey finds a book "Holcroft's Book of the Dead: Volume 1" in a bookstore and steals it. She uses the book's information on spells to try to resurrect her mother. Casey performs the ceremony but is interrupted and makes a mistake. As a result, instead of resurrecting her mother, Casey brings to life a beautiful fashion doll "Eve" that she had been given for her birthday. Eve (Tyra Banks) is thrilled to be alive, and, although Casey initially dislikes her, Eve brings out the best in Casey and restores her relationships with those around her.
