Bond arrives at Drax Industries and meets NASA astronaut and CIA agent Dr. Holly Goodhead (Lois Chiles) who has been investigating Hugo Drax (Michael Lonsdale) for plotting to replace humans with a super race. As Bond and Goodhead attempt to protect the world from the evil outer-space tyrant Drax, they encounter many problems including traps and villains standing in their way.
