| | interesting | moviebuff 06/17/2009 | | Slow action, not a block buster but it says more about Robert Mitchum and Shirley MacLaine and their abilities to both build and then sustain a character in this movie. When I stumbled on this movie I already knew about the lead character's so I did not expect much from this black and white. They seem to rescue what may have been a dull and almost boring movie. It took me away for about two hours, and no I wouldn't suggest that anyone must see this movie. It is what it is and the presence of Mitchum and MacLaine make this an experience that adds to my life. |
