Tom Canty (Dylan Sprouse) is a poor boy who dreams of becoming an actor but spends most of his time playing in the streets. Meanwhile, Eddie Tudor (Cole Sprouse) is a star but is not happy with the Hollywood lifestyle and has the reputation of a "bad boy." One day, Tom visits the set of "Teen Spy" in which Eddie stars and meets Eddie. When they realize that they look alike, they switch clothes and identities. While struggling to exist with each others' families, friends, and co-workers, Tom and Eddie learn to appreciate who they really are.
