  Based on "The Thief of Baghdad," this animated story involves the perilous adventures of a poor cobbler, Tack (Sean Connery), who upsets master vizier Zigzag (voice of Vincent Price) and is sentenced to be executed. But, after King Nod's (Anthony Quayle) daughter, Princess Yum Yum (Hilary Pritcher), takes a liking to him, his execution is stayed and he joins the princess on a quest to save the kingdom. Work on this animated film began in 1968 but was not released 25 years later.

  After his dancing partner Nadine Hale (Ann Miller) signs a contract to begin life working on her own as a singer/dancer, Don Hewes (Fred Astaire) picks Hannah (Judy Garland) out of the chorus line and determines to make her a star. Astaire's dance solos are great and include "Steppin' Out with My Baby," and the hobo routine "We're a Couple of Swells" performed by Astaire and Garland is especially fun to watch. Irving Berlin wrote the Oscar-winning score for this musical classic that includes the title song "Easter Parade."

At 17, Patti feels that she is old enough to be dating and becomes interested in another resort guest Demi Armendez (Ricardo Montalban). But, Patti's friend Valerie (Phyllis Kirk) is also attracted to Demi and does not stand by and encourage a romance between Patti and Demi. Problems develop, but by story's end all ends happily. This was Debbie Reynolds' second movie, and her rendition of the song "Abba Dabba Honeymoon" hit the charts.

But, while visiting a ranch, Ann discovers that a man she has been questioning is, in fact, Michael. By now, problems lie deep and extend to Alan wanting to end the marriage.
