The Disney Channel's McGuire family comes to the big screen with Lizzie (Hilary Duff) and friends Gordo (Adam Lamberg), Kate (Ashlie Brillault), and Ethan (Clayton Snyder) embarking on a class outing in Italy. While in Rome, Lizzie is mistaken for a pop star named Isabella (Hilary Duff) and is courted by her handsome singing partner Paolo (Yani Gellman). Lizzie gets caught up in the red-carpet scene and almost forgets what is really important in life.
