Romain (Melvil Poupaud) is a gay man dying from cancer in this second part of a trilogy (the first is "Under the Sand"). Deciding to not share the fact that he is dying, Roman tells only his grandmother (Jeanne Moreau) and alienates himself from his family and lover (Christian Sengewald). Finally, Romain agrees to father a child with a waitress, Jany (Valeria Bruni Tedeschi), who is desperate to have a child.
