Tris (Alexis Dziena) has broken up with bass player Nick (Michael Cera), and he has been sending her CDs to lure her back. Nora (Kat Dennings) has been finding the CDs in Tris' trash and has fallen in love with Nick's music. Now, Nora and her friend Caroline (Ari Graynor) are sitting in the bar where Nick's band is playing. Nick and Nora meet, and when Tris notices the attraction they have to each other, she reenters the picture and tries to lure Nick back. Meanwhile, Caroline gets drunk and goes off with Nick's band members (Aaron Yoo and Rafi Gavron), but they lose her. This leads to Nick and Nora forming a bond as they spend the night in Nick's battered yellow Yugo searching for Caroline. The great soundtrack is a highlight of this film.
