Sentenced to a life in the desert, a slave, Spartacus (Goran Visnjic), gets a new chance when he is purchased by the owner of a gladiator school. From here, Spartacus goes on to lead a slave rebellion against the corrupt Roman establishment. This TV miniseries is fair fare, but if you want to REALLY see Spartacus in action, go with Kirk Douglas' 1960 "Spartacus.".
