Jerry, Bill, Mary, and Denise (Chris Hardwick, Rainn Wilson, Jennifer Jostyn, and Erin Daniels) take a road trip looking for roadside attractions to use as the theme of an upcoming book. It is Halloween, 1977, and, when their car breaks down, they seek refuge from a storm in a spooky house. The house just happens to be occupied by the bizarre Firefly family that spends its time kidnapping, torturing, and killing its victims. Now, the Fireflys attack the unsuspecting "visitors" who must do all in their power to escape the "House of 1000 Corpses."
