This story is set in the Bible belt town of Kingfisher, Oklahoma and involves a few story lines. Jack found God during his incarceration, and when released he and Aimsley married and now Aimsley is pregnant. Another focus is on a troubled boy, Tom Spencer (Nick Stahl), who cannot speak of the brutal crime he witnessed despite kind interrogation from Sheriff Sam Rogers (Hal Holbrook).
