War is inevitable, and Sylvania sends Chicolini (Chico Marx) and Pinky (Harpo Marx) to spy on Firefly and become members of his cabinet. Firefly declares war on Sylvania, and after more than a few double-crosses, Freedonia wins. This movie is silly, zany, crafty, and VERY entertaining.

Nazi war criminal Heinrich Stubel (Sig Ruman), disguised as Count Pfefferman, is plotting to make Kornblow the next victim so that he can reclaim stolen art treasures that Stubel has hidden inside the hotel. When Stubel's valet, Rusty (Harpo Marx), gets wind of the plot, businessman Corbacchio (Chico Marx) teams up with him to protect Kornblow. Rusty finds the treasure just before he, Kornblow, and Corbacchio are arrested and tossed into jail. But, they do manage to escape in time to foil Stubel's plan. Throughout all of the intrigue, comedy abounds.
