Jack and Adrienne have been apart for months, and Jack has just told her that he wants to come back, but Adrienne isn't sure she wants to go along with that plan. The only other guest at the inn is divorced surgeon Paul (Richard Gere), and, as Adrienne and Paul talk, they become very interested in each other.
