My grandchildren love this movie. It's a ritual every Halloween we watch this over and over.
The first time a few parts were a little scarey but now it's more entertaining. I love Bette.

How I Got Into College   1989     bomb    PG-13, 89 min.
Genre: Comedy
Director: Savage Steve Holland
Cast: Corey Parker, Anthony Edwards, Lara Flynn Boyle, Finn Carter, Charles Rocket, Christopher Rydell, Brian Doyle-Murray, Phil Hartman

What could have been a good plot–the methods students use to get into college and the methods colleges use to get good students–falls way short in this movie. The comedy is stale and so are the performances.
