Ranger Tex (Tex Ritter) rides into town to settle a feud between cattlemen and sheep men. But it's not all that simple since the feud is being fueled by a respected citizen who has his eyes set on being the big boss. One of Tex's weakest films, which was completed after Tex had signed with a rival company. So the small budget was even smaller for this film, and the last reel was completely lifted from a previous film.

Meanwhile, Dad's daughter Molly (Jeanne Martel) is having problems with a gang that is trying to take over her ranch. Tom infiltrates One-Shot Morgan's (Slim Whitaker) gang, posing as the killer he had shot. But, tough times lie ahead after Tom is exposed by a gang member who knew the killer.

Very cheap, but Lugosi is always fun to watch.

But, again, Tex is there when needed.

To make matters worse, the gorilla costumes don't fit all that well.
