Indian cook Sidhu (Akshay Kumar) is mistaken by two strangers who believe that he is the reincarnation of an ancient Chinese warrior. With help from a translator, Chopstick (Ranvir Shorey), they convince Sidhu to travel with them to their Chinese village where they want him to rid the town of gangster Hojo (Chia Hui Liu). When Sidhu realizes why they brought him to their village, he finds help from Kung Fu master Chiang (Roger Yuan) who teaches him how to find his inner hero and fight the gangster. In the process, Sidhu even finds the love of his life in the beautiful Sakhi (Deepika Padukone).
