It appears that zombies really do exist, and scientist Dennis Alan (Bill Pullman) is sent to Haiti by a drug company to find the drug that may used in creating zombies. Teaming up with a local "good" voodoo priest (Paul Winfield) and his daughter (Cathy Tyson), Alan finds that, as he gets closer to the answers, the resistance from the "bad" voodoo priest becomes greater, and he is in jeopardy of becoming a zombie himself. Based on a book by Wade Davis who actually looked for the drug. Good special effects.
