As evening approaches, strange things happen when glowing pods head for their roof. Inside the pods are "Zirkonian" aliens who infect Ricky with a mind-control device in order to achieve their plot of taking over Earth, and now it is up to the kids to save the planet.

When Preston Price (Carter Jenkins) brags about the money he makes with his dog, Calvin decides this could be the solution to his problem, and he goes to the animal shelter. Unfortunately for Calvin, the only dog he can take is Tyko, a wild Labrador/St. Bernard mix. With Emily's (Kay Panabaker) help, will Tyko be well enough trained to be in the dog competition, or will his troublesome ways keep Calvin from receiving the prize he is after? (Review by LW)
