This third installment of Roddy Doyle's "Barrytown Trilogy" is about fired baker Bimbo (Donal O'Kelly) who, with his friend Larry (Colm Meaney), hatches a get-rich-quick plot to sell fish and chips from a van. They succeed financially, but will their friendship endure success? The previous films taken from Doyle's trilogy are "The Commitments" and "The Snapper."
