The Strawberry Statement   1970     1 and a half stars    R, 103 min.
Genre: Drama
Director: Stuart Hagmann

This adaptation of James Kunen's book about Columbia University's riots in the 1960s involves students occupying a campus building to force the issue of their radical philosophy in that historic era. Unfortunately, the story comes across watered down, and the message is lost.
