A friendly alien (Mickey Hays) arrives in the small town of Aurora, Texas, in 1897, and after Charlie (Jack Elam) drunkenly invites him in for a visit, the town's newspaper editor, Alain Peebles (Carol Bagdasarian), prints a story about the alien. The Governor (George "Spanky" McFarland) gets wind of the event and sends in a trigger-happy Texas Ranger (Will Mitchell) to investigate. Good sci-fi fun.
