Just like in the opera, Carmen has an affair with another man, and Antonio's jealousy leads to deadly results. An excellent takeoff on the opera, with awesome dances. An Academy Award nomination was received for Best Foreign Film.

Now Goya (Jose Coronado) reminisces with his daughter, Rosario (Dafne Fernandez), about his life, deafness, and art. Although not a great movie, this film succeeds as a very good study of Goya.
