This story is about Alice Liddell, a fictional name for the girl who inspired Lewis Carroll to write "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" and what happens to her 70 years after the book was published. She goes to America accompanied by a young girl who falls in love with a reporter. Alice opposes their relationship and we share in her fantasies, which counterpoint the realistic flashbacks about Alice and Carroll.
