FBI agent Nelville Flynn (Samuel L. Jackson) is escorting murder witness Sean Jones (Nathan Phillips) on a plane from Hawaii to Los Angeles where Jones will testify against crime lord Eddie Kim (Byron Lawson). In an effort to prevent Sean from testifying, Kim plots to release a crate of poisonous snakes that–after coming in contact with pheremone infested leis that will drive them wild–will attack and kill those aboard the plane.
