While in college, Tom (Patrick Dempsey) met Hannah (Michelle Monaghan), and, while romance is not in the picture, they became best friends. Now, ten years later, they are still enjoying their companionship and spending Sundays together. When Hannah travels to Scotland, Tom realizes how much she means to him and plans to tell her when she returns. But when Hannah comes home, she is engaged to Scotsman Colin (Kevin McKidd) and asks Tom to be her MOH ("Maid" of Honor). What will Tom do? His solution: agree to be Hannah's MOH and then use his insider status to sabotage the wedding plans.
