  Twenty years after high-school basketball star Mike (Zac Efron) dropped his sport to marry his pregnant girlfriend Scarlet (Allison Miller), Mike's (now played by Matthew Perry) marriage to Scarlet (now played by Leslie Mann) is on the rocks. Mike is alienated from his children Alex and Maggie (Sterling Knight and Michelle Trachtenberg), and his job is not going well. Miraculously, Mike is transformed back to his teenage body and is enrolled in the same school that his children attend. Will Mike recapture his years missed when he dropped out of basketball, or will he decide to devote his time to helping his wife and children?

  Raised by schizophrenic father Jason (Bill Pullman) and self-absorbed mother Mimi (Susan Sarandon), 17-year-old Jason "Igby" Slocumb Jr. (Kieran Culkin) has problems coping. He is foisted off on his godfather, D.H. Baines (Jeff Goldblum), who decides Igby will spend weekdays in NYC and weekends in the Hamptons. But events don't proceed as planned in this dark comedy about the problems Igby faces growing up as a member of a wealthy, East Coast family.

  Recent Hampshire College graduates Alice Kinnon (Chloe Sevigny) and Charlotte Pingress (Kate Beckinsale) spend their days working as editorial assistants, and their nights are spent at the disco where sex and drugs run rampant. But the disco is closing, and the insecurity of Alice and the self-absorption of Charlotte seem to epitomize the youth of their day: sheltered and parentally subsidized, but on the brink of new mature love and responsibility bringing a new meaning to their lives.
