This "sequel" bears no relationship to the original. It is 1957, and Mary Lou (Lisa Schrage), who was voted Prom Queen, is accidentally killed by her ex-boyfriend. Now, 30 years later, the boyfriend is the school principal and it's nearly prom time. It gets gory, though, since Mary Lou is out for revenge and she possesses the queen-to-be (Wendy Lyon).
