Enter the Dragon 1973 R, 99 min. Genre: Action aka: The Deadly Three
Director: Robert Clouse Cast: Bruce Lee, John Saxon, Jim Kelly, Ahna Capri, Shih Kien, Bob Wall, Angela Mao, Betty Chung, Geoffrey Weeks, Marlene Clark
This is one good martial-arts film in which Bruce Lee kicks his way into a drug ring. "The Kentucky Fried Movie" was later made as a satire of this–one of Lee's most popular films.

Fist of Fear, Touch of Death 1980 R, 90 min. Genre: Action
Director: Matthew Mallinson Cast: Fred Williamson, Ron Van Clief, Adolph Caesar, Aaron Banks, Teruyuki Higa, Gail Turner, Richard Barathy, Hollywood Browde, Bill Louie, Louis Neglia, Bruce Lee, Cydra Karlyn, John Flood, Ron Harvey
Filmed at Madison Square Garden, this pseudo-documentary provides phony interviews associated with a major martial arts tournament at the Garden. A cheap, unwatchable exploitation of Bruce Lee (showing archival footage).

Director: Lo Wei Cast: Bruce Lee, Maria Yi, Han Ying-chieh, Tony Liu, Malalene, James Tien, Nora Miao, Lee Quin, Chin Shan, Chen Chao
After not being too successful in Hollywood, Bruce Lee headed home to Hong Kong, and this is his first starring role. Although a low-budget and poorly acted entry, it does show Lee's talents. Cheng (Lee) is sent to live with his uncle and cousins, and he takes a job at an ice house where his cousins work. Though promising not to fight, he can't resist after finding out that the ice house is a front for a drug ring, and two of his cousins are murdered.

Bruce Lee takes on the role of tracking down the mobsters in this film. (Lee died during filming in 1973, and the film was completed five years later.) Highlight: last half hour, which contains great fight scenes as Lee fights the bad guys–one by one.

Director: Ng See Yuen Cast: Bruce Lee, Kim Tai Chung, Lee Hoi San, Miranda Austin, Roy Chiao, Casanova Wong, Roy Horan, Hwang Jang Lee
Eight years after Bruce Lee's death, archival footage of his amazing martial arts feats are featured (at least in the first half of the film) with a double (Kim Tai Chung) being used in most of the scenes. Billy (Bruce Lee/Kim Tai Chung) is killed while attending a friend's funeral, and his brother tracks down those responsible.

Marlowe 1969 PG, 96 min. Genre: Mystery
Director: Paul Bogart Cast: James Garner, Gayle Hunnicutt, Carroll O'Connor, Rita Moreno, Sharon Farrell, William Daniels, Jackie Coogan, Kenneth Tobey, Bruce Lee, H.M. Wynant
James Garner is very believable in the role of detective Philip Marlowe in this update of Ray Chandler's "The Little Sister." The "sister" hires Marlowe to find her missing brother, and there's lots of fun before the case is solved.
