  Fifteen-year-old Sara (Jennifer Connelly) resents her baby brother Toby (Toby Froud) and wishes that he would disappear. Her wish comes true when Toby is captured and held captive by The Goblin King (David Bowie). Sarah now realizes the problem she has created and sets out to rescue Toby. Toby's trail takes her to the winding labyrinth, which leads to the castle where Toby is being held. The labyrinth is filled with puzzles and strange creatures (Jim Henson's puppets) that confuse Sarah who must rescue Toby by midnight or he will be turned into a goblin.

  When miser Ebednzer Scrooge (Michael Caine) is visited by the Ghost of Christmas Past (Jessica Fox), the Ghost of Christmas Present (Donald Austen), and the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come (Robert Tygner), he buys a big goose and takes it to the Cratchit family–played by Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy (Steve Whitmire and Frank Oz)–where he spends the holiday. Scrooge gives Bob Cratchit a raise and provides funds for Tiny Tim's (Jerry Nelson) medical treatment, which proves that he has changed his ways.

  In this Muppet version of Robert Louis Stevenson's novel, Jim Hawkins (Kevin Bishop) and his two friends, Gonzo and Rizzo the Rat, follow a treasure map's directions to the adventures of a lifetime. They travel aboard the Hispainiola, which is captained by Kermit the Frog. On board is the peg-legged cook, Long John Silver (Tim Curry), who is really a pirate and has his own plans for the treasure. Long John and his pirates take Jim hostage and set off in pursuit of the treasure, which just happens to be in the possession of Miss Piggy, and, of course, all ends well.

Kermit (voice of Steve Whitmire) and the Muppets come to his aid, and now Gonzo must decide whether or not to meet his alien family.
