  As if the Freeling family–father Steve (Craig T. Nelson), mother Diane (JoBeth Williams), daughter Carol Anne (Heather O'Rourke), and son Robbie (Oliver Robins)–had not suffered enough with their poltergeists in the first movie, they are back again. Following Grandma's death, the toy telephone rings, and who should be on the other end but the "other side." Now the family is visited by the evil spirit of cult leader Henry Kane (Julian Beck), and, once again, they contact psychic medium Tangina Barrons (Zelda Rubinstein) for help. As in the first film, the special effects are excellent.

  This is the very well-presented biography of the stormy relationship between Ike and Tina Turner. The story begins with Tina's childhood and then progresses through her marriage and subsequent divorce from Ike. Finally, it explores her rise back to the top in the entertainment world. Fishburne and Bassett were nominated for Oscars (Best Actor and Actress).
