William James (Jeremy Renner) takes over the elite team of Sgt. JT Sanborn (Anthony Mackie) and Specialist Owen Eldridge (Brian Geraghty). Aubrey (Lindsay Lohan) has it all: top grades in college, multiple talents, looks, and money. She also has a dark side–writing stories about a girl who feels she is only half a person. Aubrey is kidnapped by a serial killer and is tortured, losing an arm and a leg. Two weeks later, Aubrey is found, but the look-alike insists she isn't Aubrey, but Dakota, the girl created by Aubrey. Dakota, now with artificial limbs, takes on a life of porn while her parents and police try to figure out what's going on. A disappointing film.
