  This film includes important European competitions and follows the exploits of various drivers both on and off the track, which include affairs between Jean-Pierre Sarte (Yves Montand) and Louise Frederickson (Eva Marie Saint) and Nino Barlini (Antonio Sabato) and Lisa (Francoise Hardy). At the same time, while Grand Prix driver Pete Aron (James Garner) recovers from a crash at Monaco in which his teammate Scott Stoddard (Brian Bedford) was critically injured, Pete becomes involved with Scott's estranged wife, Pat (Jessica Walter). Adding more changes to his life, Pete begins to drive for the Japanese Yamura team. Racing footage is good with many shots taken inches from the track.

  In this Disney animated version of the classic tale, animals take on all of the roles. For example, Robin Hood (voice of Brian Bedford) is a fox, Allan-A-Dale (voice of Roger Miller) is a rooster, and Maid Marian (voice of Monica Evans) is also a fox. The storyline fits with the legend of Robin Hood and his gang who steals from the rich and gives to the poor because Prince John (voice of Peter Ustinov) is overtaxing them for his own personal gains.
