Robert Foxworth steps into the role of Dr. Frankenstein experimenting in his lab in Ingolstadt during 1856. He experiments with nature by harnessing electricity to create his monster (Bo Svenson) from dead body parts. This monster is decent looking but doomed because of its homicidal nature. After murdering Frankenstein's assistant, the monster hides in a forest where it learns English by listening in on a family living nearby. The monster then returns to Frankenstein demanding that Frankenstein create a mate for it. Frankenstein refuses and destroys his experiment, which leads to the monster vowing revenge.
