The special effects are good in this sequel to 1987's "The Curse," though there is no common storyline between the two.

After murdering Frankenstein's assistant, the monster hides in a forest where it learns English by listening in on a family living nearby. The monster then returns to Frankenstein demanding that Frankenstein create a mate for it. Frankenstein refuses and destroys his experiment, which leads to the monster vowing revenge.
