On their honeymoon, John and Cathy Beck (Stewart Moss and Marianne McAndrew) join a group on a cavern trip. Since his current specialty is studying bats, scientist John is on the lookout, and he indeed finds bats, one of which bites him. He proceeds to turn in to a Bat-"were-bat," and eventually Cathy does likewise. And the killing begins.
