While Dave is attending the luncheon, the President suffers a stroke when he is having sex with his mistress. In order to keep the indiscretion a secret, Dave agrees to continue his impersonation of the President. It doesn't take long for Dave to learn how to run the government and promote changes he feels will improve the country. Now we skip to 1995, and orphans Judy (Kirsten Dunst) and Peter (Bradley Pierce) have moved into Alan's old house, find the Jumanji game, and conjure up Alan (Robin Williams) who has been sucked into the game and remained there for the last 26 years. They track down Sarah so they can end the game. Special effects are amazing as animatronic and computer-generated wild animals thunder through the house and town until the game is finished.

Mike (voice of Billy Crystal) and Sulley (voice of John Goodman) are the company's best scream producers, but when they allow a little girl (voice of Mary Gibbs) from Earth to enter their domain, chaos becomes the order of the day. Randy Newman's song "If I Didn't Have You" won an Oscar, and his musical score was nominated. The film was also nominated for Best Animated Feature, a new category.
