It's the day before Christmas when the obscene phone calls start at the sorority house, and the killing of sorority sisters begins. It appears that the killer is in the attic. A pretty good slasher film that set a standard for those to follow. Margot Kidder is great as the foul-mouthed sister.

A Freaky, Trippy, HORRIFYING movieRozz Williams 11/30/2007
Deathdream is a little known treasure (but is steadily gaining popularity on the cult movie circuit). Part of what makes this movie scary is the very real message it sends with regard to war. IF YOU WANT TO BE FROZEN IN ABSOLUTE TERROR, WATCH THIS MOVIE!!!! NOT FOR THE TIMID.

Not-so conservative young lawyer "Stormy" Weathers (Judd Nelson) uses rather unorthodox maneuvers in the courtroom. This results in his defense of an accused murderer (John Hurt). The trial provides amusing insights into both personalities.    1 User Review
