  Monsieur Hulot (Jacques Tati) has an appointment in Paris with an American official when he gets lost in the maze of contemporary architecture that is filled with modern gadgets. When the city comes to life, and tourists fill his world, Hulot finds moving obstacles at every turn to block his way, and he leaves a trail of chaos in his wake.
