  Loosely based on murders in Rochester, New York, during the late 1980s, this story centers on a police officer, Megan Paige (Eliza Dushku), who develops schizophrenia while investigating the case. She is placed in a psychiatric hospital but is released later and is back at the police station when another murder is committed. Megan sees a connection between the murders because the victims' first and last names start with the same letters. Now, the question is whether or not Megan can hang onto her sanity long enough to solve the crimes.

  Growing up in Haddonfield, Illinois, mentally unbalanced Michael Myers (Daeg Faerch) lives in a dysfunctional family, which includes his stripper mother Deborah (Sheri Moon), his stepfather Ronnie (William Forsythe), his teenage sister Judith (Hanna Hall), and infant sister Laurie. One Halloween night, Michael kills Ronnie, Judith, and her boyfriend. Michael is sent to a sanitarium and placed under the care of Dr. Samuel Loomis (Malcolm McDowell). Seventeen years later, Michael (now played by Tyler Mane) escapes and heads for Haddonfield in search of Laurie. Dr. Loomis follows, hoping to stop another killing spree. But, even the good doctor cannot prevent the bloody Halloween reunion.

  An incompatible married couple Jack and Stephanie (Reynaldo Rosales and Heidi Dippold) have car trouble and end up at the Wayside Inn run by a creepy couple, Betty and Stewart (Leslie Easterbrook and Bill Moseley). Another couple–Leslie and Randy (Julie Ann Emery and J.P. Davis)–is also staying at the inn, and that night a demon, Tin Man (Michael Madsen), drops a message into the chimney. The message reveals that the Tin Man has killed God and wants another body within 12 hours, or he will kill all four of the inn's visitors. In desperation, they search for weapons to kill the Tin Man, and through their struggles they find that their past sins play a big role in their efforts to survive.

Now, Barbara tries to find safety by joining six other people in a farmhouse, and they become trapped while the zombies hunger for human flesh. As tensions rise, dangers increase–both inside and outside the farmhouse.

Meanwhile, Repo Man has his own problems involving his 17-year-old daughter Shilo (Alexa Vega) who suffers from a rare blood disease, and Blind Mag (Sarah Brightman), who is Shilo's godmother, is his next target.

Kevin gets help from Jennifer (Justine Waddell) whose brother was a victim of RK, and Kevin's childhood friend Samantha also joins in on the investigation as they race to win the "game" by figuring out the mystery before one or all of them die.
