  This "dish" is a satellite dish in rural Australia that was used by NASA to receive live transmissions in the southern hemisphere during Apollo's historic trip to the moon. The film presents an unusually good story about three senior members of the Australian Department of Radio Physics, Cliff Buxton (Sam Neill), Ross 'Mitch' Mitchell (Kevin Harrington) and Glenn Latham (Tom Long), and their NASA associate, Al Burnett (Patrick Warburton), that monitored this important disk.

Both are gamblers, and Lucinda bets Oscar that he cannot successfully transport the glass church to the Australian outback.
